Beaver Creek Nursery has been part of the Knoxville gardening community for over 40 years. What began as a landscape company evolved into a specialty nursery when we recognized the importance of growing our own plant material. That foundation allows us to offer consistency, quality, and plants proven to thrive in regional conditions.
Knoxville customers visit us for trees, shrubs, and perennials that add structure, texture, and four-season interest to their landscapes. Our selection is intentionally curated to avoid the common, mass-produced plants found at large retail outlets.
Plants Selected to Thrive in East Tennessee
All plants sold at Beaver Creek Nursery at Briar Thicket are nursery grown from seed, cuttings, or division and are never collected from the wild. We trial our plants for hardiness to ensure they perform well in East Tennessee’s climate, including Knoxville’s heat, humidity, and seasonal temperature changes.
Our offerings include Japanese maples, stewartias, native trees and shrubs, conifers, camellias, hostas, ferns, and wildflowers. We do not sell annuals or fruit trees, allowing us to focus exclusively on plants that deliver long-term landscape value.
