Beaver Creek Nursery has spent more than 40 years growing plants for East Tennessee conditions. What began as a landscape company evolved into a specialty nursery when we realized the importance of controlling plant quality from propagation through maturity. That focus allows us to offer healthier, more reliable plants to Kingsport gardeners.
Our nursery is known for rare, unusual, and hard-to-find trees, shrubs, and perennials that are not commonly available at big box stores. By keeping our selection intentionally refined, we maintain higher standards of plant health and offer meaningful variety for thoughtful landscape design.
Plants Suited for Appalachian Growing Conditions
Every plant we sell is nursery grown from seed, cuttings, or division and is never collected from the wild. We trial our plants for hardiness to ensure they perform well in East Tennessee’s climate, including the elevation changes, temperature swings, and soil diversity common in and around Kingsport.
Our selection includes Japanese maples, stewartias, native trees and shrubs, conifers, camellias, hostas, ferns, and wildflowers. We intentionally do not sell annuals or fruit trees, allowing us to focus exclusively on plants that provide lasting structure and beauty.
