A Nursery Focused on Unique Plant Selections
With more than 40 years of experience, Beaver Creek Nursery has built a reputation for offering rare, unusual, and hard-to-find plants that bring depth and character to the landscape. Our background as growers allows us to control plant quality from propagation through maturity, ensuring consistency and reliability.
Greenville customers visit us for plants that stand apart from what’s commonly found at retail garden centers. By intentionally limiting our inventory, we’re able to maintain healthier plants and offer varieties chosen for beauty, structure, and long-term success.
Grown for East Tennessee Growing Conditions
All plants sold at Beaver Creek Nursery at Briar Thicket are nursery grown from seed, cuttings, or division and are never collected from the wild. Each plant is trialed for hardiness to ensure it performs well in East Tennessee’s climate, including the rolling terrain and seasonal temperature shifts common in the Greenville area.
Our offerings include Japanese maples, stewartias, native trees and shrubs, conifers, camellias, hostas, ferns, and wildflowers. We do not sell annuals or fruit trees, allowing us to focus entirely on plants that provide lasting landscape value.
Guidance Tailored to Your Property
Selecting the right plant involves more than appearance. Our decades of hands-on growing experience allow us to help Greenville customers choose plants based on sunlight, soil type, moisture levels, and mature size. This practical approach leads to healthier gardens and fewer long-term maintenance issues.
Whether you are enhancing a shaded yard, developing a woodland setting, or planning foundation plantings for your home, our guidance is honest, straightforward, and rooted in real-world growing experience.
