Our new chapter…
As most of you know, we’ve been a staple in the Knoxville area for the last 40 years. Several years ago Mike and I started having long conversations about what we should to do in the second half of our lives, which was quickly approaching.
We didn’t want to retire, just slow down a bit. So first we ending hardscaping, then landscaping, then landscape maintenance. At that point, we just continued growing and selling plants which was so much easier.
Now the traffic in Knoxville, and in our little community of Halls, was getting so busy we decided it was time to look for land and move to the country, ( funny, Halls was the country when we started). We looked from Campbell county to Monroe county and all parts in between. We drove for hours and hours up mountains and down mountains, found nothing suitable.
So we gave up for a bit then started back on our search. So rather driving around for hours and hours we spent hours and hours on line. Almost giving up again, up popped this beautiful farm in Cocke County with an 81 year old barn just waiting for someone to give it the TLC it deserves…that person was me! It checked most of the boxes, blank slate, easy access, well and electric…SOLD!
So here we go…
We’re currently building a new office, working on the property and setting up new greenhouses for our opening in Spring 2026. We’re so excited for everyone to come see us at this stunning peaceful location!
